That Wanaka Tree is probably on every photographer's New Zealand list. We had navigated around bad weather for most of the trip — our luck ran out here.
Gale force winds and rain battered the campervan overnight. Dawn brought some reprieve, but was still cold and windy. I went out anyway.
The long exposure was the only way to calm the water for a serene effect.
