For a year, this was my street. I returned to this spot dozens of times — early mornings, late afternoons — waiting for the sky to complete the composition. In time, the locals came to recognise me.
The Gladesville Bridge carries echoes of its famous harbour cousin. The yachts hold their place in the foreground. The sky, when it finally arrived, made the waiting worthwhile.
